Intro to Clinical Behavior Analysis is a 3-session, live, online didactic workshop series that will introduce fundamental concepts, principles, and applications of behavior analysis. *SEE BELOW FOR STUDENT DISCOUNT* Increasingly, practitioners from a wide spectrum of therapeutic disciplines are discovering the elegance and power of Clinical Behavior Analysis. Such is the case for many practitioners of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Clinicians who “catch the ACT bug” may quickly find themselves immersed in intimidating technical language. From the philosophical rigors of Functional Contextualism and the counterunitive logic of Functional Analysis, to the nearly incomprehensible jargon of Relational Frame Theory (RFT), it's hard to decide where to even start! Fuller, M.S., BCBA, LABA is Clinical Director of ACT Mindfully with Peers at New England Center for OCD and Anxiety. CEs: 3 CEs for Psychologists. Attendees must complete the course in full, attend all sessions and complete the course evaluation in order to receive ANY CE credit. No partial credit will be given. Clinical Behavior Analysis Educational Objectives: After this workshop series, participants will be able to -Articulate the philosophical assumptions of Behavior Analysis -Explain what is meant be "context" in human behavior -Apply functional analysis to case conceptualization -Leverage behavioral processes to build out contingencies of joy Intended Audience: Beginning and Intermediate-level psychologists, social workers, counselors, therapists, and coaches interested in drilling down to the bedrock of behavior analysis in order to enhance their clinical skills. Cost is $150. There is an extra $15 fee for CEs.
