Service Description
ERP II Foundations is a consultation series that will support beginning and intermediate-level clinicians in the effective implementation of exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD and related disorders. *SEE BELOW FOR PACKAGE AND STUDENT DISCOUNTS* ERP II is for individuals who see children, adolescents, or adults with OCD who are beginning to use ERP, and/or who have completed the ERP Foundations I course. We will focus on developing case conceptualization skills and adding to one's ERP toolbox with varied presentations of OCD, as well as comorbid conditions. Participants may sign up for either Foundations course individually, or for both. Presenter: Dr. Evelyn Gould, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA, is a Clinical Psychologogist and Clinical Behavior Analyst who has worked extensively with OCD and ASD. She is the Director of the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety, Los Angeles. CEs: 4 CEs available for psychologists for additional $15 fee. Attendees must complete the course in full, attend all sessions, and complete the course evaluation in order to receive ANY continuing education credit. No partial credit will be given. Course Dates: Mondays, 3-4PM EST 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/9 Course Overview: • Session 1: Conceptualizing OCD in children, adolescents, and adults • Session 2: OCD in the Family: Addressing Accommodation • Session 3: OCD and Commonly Comorbid Conditions: ASD, Depression, & Anxiety • Session 4: Working with “Pure O” OCD: Addressing Cognitive Rituals Educational Objectives: At the end of this course, participants will be able to 1. Conceptualize OCD cases in children, adolescents, and/or adults 2. Describe and address family accommodation in ERP treatment 3. Describe how to address commonly comorbid conditions such as depression, other anxiety disorders, and autism spectrum disorders by adapting treatment 4. Describe how to address cognitive rituals in “pure O” presentations of OCD Intended Audience: Beginning and Intermediate-level clinicians Cost: $200; There is an extra $15 fee for CEs. Scholarships or reduced fees are available for practitioners who belong to or serve marginalized communities. *If you register for both ERP I and ERP II at the same time, we offer a 10% discount on each (CODE: IWANTBOTH). If you are a student actively enrolled in graduate school or internship, we offer a 50% discount (CODE: STUDENT).
